OLD OAK CABIN MOUND

This project focuses upon the influenceability of a site upon which a cabin camouflages itself within and is defined by, and the permeability of natural views that seep into and around the cabin, and their influenceability upon the cabin itself. 

The cabin is a 23m² space designed for myself in the West London Old Oak Common area. 

The cabin responds to the site by sitting beneath a hollow green-roof mound that seamlessly camouflages the cabin within the landscape, with mirrors and bark cladding in places to reflect and continue the visual typology of the environment.
